The Cinematography of Thin Blue Divide

This case study website covers my personal work on the cinematography of a documentary made for COMM 465, Thin Blue Divide. The website itself implements scroll animations, in an attempt to demonstrate the principles learned. The animations are the most significant feature but spacing, text shadow and image optimization are also present. It serves as a way for me to show what I learned. (I at least tried.)
From Idea To Hoodie

My goal was to make the website clear, visual, and easy to follow, while also making it match the style and message of the brand.
Creating a Photo you Can’t Take

For my final website project, I made a case study for a creative composite I made in COMM 300. For this case study, I outlined the process I used to create this composite, telling the story with text and placing accompanying images to tell the story visually. The images would shift around and morph into other images as you scroll up and down the page to help visualize how elements evolved and combined together. Despite the Distance

‘Despite the Distance’ is a case study of a personal project I did for a K-pop concert I attended. I created my own banners to give out to fellow fans at the concert and to hold up during the concert. This is demonstrated through high-quality visuals and animations to show my creative process for this project. This webpage was created through WordPress using Divi. a webpage builder. I was able to learn how to effectively tell a cohesive story through different modules within this webpage builder.
Out With the Old in With the New

For this project, I designed and developed an interactive case study website showcasing my work redesigning the BYU–Idaho financial aid website. The project centered on a ground-up reorganization of the site’s structure and content to create a more intuitive and student-focused experience. In building the case study, I incorporated visuals and subtle animations to clearly communicate the design process, highlight key challenges, and illustrate the impact of the changes made.

An Iconic Journey
