Purpose:
I had the amazing opportunity to work with Alicia and Scott Jacobson at “The Glass Slipper”; A boutique offering new and pre-owned wedding gowns, prom dresses to buy or rent. The Glass Slipper Boutique has been open for many years and they have created a successful business where it is important to them that every girl and woman have a positive experience at their shop.
One of the company’s main concerns was bringing business awareness through their social media pages. These couple of months I have been able to rebrand their image online through social media marketing. I have been able to create a brand guide, and create content for them that will help their company build a cohesive online presence marketing to girls and women looking to rent or purchase a gown.
Process:
The Brand Kit includes the brand color palette, logos, typography, graphics and a social media calendar that will help build their social media brand image. This kit will be a starting point for the company and an easy way for them to look back at when creating content. The entire process has also helped me gain skills in social media marketing and rebranding.

Content Creation:
Being able to create social media content for TGS was so great! I loved being able to get creative and build from the company brand image. One of the main goal for the business was for them to use their social media pages as a way to create a personal connection with their customers. We wanted to better showcase The Glass Slipper Brides and show pictures of them wearing their dream gown on their big day. In order for this to come together I was able to reach out and collaborate with different photographers in the area and gain permission to use their photos on the page. I was able to find models to create reels and create new content for the company to use in future opportunities. All of the content created was sent to the business so that they can have access to it at any moment.

Insights:
The Glass Slipper has taught me many amazing things. My overall experience working with them was incredible, one of my favorite parts was meeting with my client and being able to see her vision come to life. I have come to understand the power of social media marketing and how vital it is for a company to have a brand presence. It is important for companies to be consistent and cohesive with their brand image and voice. I plan to continue to find ways in using and developing the skills I have gained through this project.
