Introduction
Hello! My name is Alyssa Müller, and I am a Public Relations emphasis. For my senior project, I chose to work with the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce, where I currently work as the Member Services Coordinator. For my project, I helped plan and execute the tournament.
Project Overview
The Whoopee Days Golf Tournament is an annual tournament that the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce hosts at the Teton Lakes Golf Course. It is the second-largest revenue source for the Chamber. Because the Chamber is a non-profit organization, it is vital that this fundraiser is successful.
My Role
My role in the project included recruiting teams, tee box sponsors, and hole sponsors; designing the marketing and signage; tracking event details in Excel; and creating all materials needed for tournament set-up and team and sponsor check-in.
