In early 2019, Tyson Hunsaker decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in Digital Filmmaking after he had completed his undergraduate here at BYU-Idaho. In preparation for this endeavor, he set out to create the “complete” portfolio that would showcase all of his skills in filmmaking and videography and fulfill admission requirements.
The portfolio consists of two short films, one short documentary, a new demo reel, one feature screenplay (ready for production), three short screenplays (ready for production), and three film analyses essays.
This project has been a working progress for the past two years but the last 70 hours of work has been dedicated to finishing the portfolio and compiling it by redrafting all the screenplays, finishing one of the short films “Germ”, completing the analytical essays, and creating a new demo reel. Also included in the past 70 hours is a new recrafting process of his new website where the portfolio is housed.
