Project Summary
Conflict is everywhere in our lives. You can find it at home, at school, at work or just about anywhere. Conflict is such an uncomfortable thing to deal with, so much so that many people do not take the time to understand it and how to deal with it. That is why for my project, I did what many are reluctant to do. I took the information that exists in the world about conflict and how to deal with it and present it in a way that can be made easy to understand.
Luckily, there are those out there that already know about conflict management, you just need to know where to find it. With help I found a specialization course specifically about conflict management and took it. This self-paced course has a recommended time frame of months, but through diligence I was able to complete it in a manner of weeks. The information gained taking this specialization course was then presented through easy-to-understand infographics. This will make it so that any question that someone has in regard to conflict can be answered to a basic extent.
There will be three infographics in total, talking about the sources, process, and results of conflict management. I do the hard part of taking the plethora of information that exists and fitting it and designing it in a way that is easy to follow. For those that would like to dive just a little deeper into a specific principle or wish to simply see more information, I also created a website that features the same information, but in more depth.
The reason this project is important is because if we look at things from a business perspective, conflict can arise from multiple sources. I would like to prove to any potential future employers that I can be the one entrusted to handle conflicts when they arise. I can give advice as to how to handle situations with the best possible results.
