I featured the 75 Hard Challenge for my Senior Project. The challenge was created by Andy Frisella, CEO of the supplement company 1st Phorm. He claims “75 Hard is not a fitness challenge, but a transformative mental toughness program.”
For 75 Hard someone has to do 5 things every single day for 75 days. If you skip one of these 5 things you have to start all the way over. Each day you have to:
- Drink a gallon of water
- Workout twice for 45 minutes each. (One has to be outside)
- Read 10 pages of a nonfiction book
- Stick to any diet
- Take a progress picture

Created an instagram page named Campbell’s Giants to follow my story of 75 Hard. Throughout the semester I gained 25 followers. I posted about the workouts I was doing each day, what I was reading, and the diet I was sticking to.
I created the logo of the page, and made the beginnings of a future brand.

I quickly learned that I do not enjoy recording myself workout in the gym or in general. I continued to post but I quickly got turned off by the idea of posting on Instagram everyday.
To help compensate, I started a blog post where I taught the principles and teachings of the books I was reading.
During the course of the project I finished four books.
- Sell or Be Sold by Grant Cardone
- Sell Like Crazy by Sabri Suby
- Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins
- The Melchizedek Priesthood by Elder Renlund
The name of the book blog is CEO’s Booklist and each blog post is roughly 1000 words.
It was amazing taking a deep dive into what I was learning from these great authors. By not just reading the books, but by taking notes and knowing that I was going to teach their principles forced me to pay closer attention to what I was reading.
Overall, I feel like this project helped me showcase my writing skills, my personal diligence, and my ability to do hard things for my employers.
