Project Purpose
The purpose of this project was to focus on creating content for the company Amare Global. In this project I worked to create unique content for one of the Diamonds. The content made helps the leader continue to capture the attention of her audience and make growth possible.
The Project
The original plan to create product promotions, infographics, flyers, and brochures. After speaking with one of the leaders in the company, I soon learned that she wanted something unique that the company hadn’t already produced. This was when we both decided the best way to achieve her desired level of uniqueness I would need to create stickers.
These are some of the items that were created for the Diamond. They first images were merely drafts or sketches of potential content I could create for her. After those we both decided stickers were the best option. The stickers that I was able to create all represent the various products that are sold. These can either be physical stickers or can be used for social media purposes.
I will use the various adobe programs and build these from scratch. I will contact members in the company and ask them the proper information to provide in the various projects that I will go on to complete for them. In each project I will promote the various products and sales they may have. I believe that this will be helpful to me as I have never taken on projects like this but it will allow me to grow my skills and use the ones that I have from previous classes.
Challenges Encountered with Project
The largest issue faced in the content creation was avoiding copyright. All of the stickers created are all based off of real life product. This means I was not allowed to directly mention or use any design on the product itself. Overall with the help of the Diamond I was able to avoid any possible problems with the corporate office.
Project Processes
To create each sticker I met with the Diamond and we would brainstorm and sketch each design. After this product I would turn to Adobe Illustrator and begin constructing the designs. We would then meet again and if she approved I would do finishing touches and send her the files. Each sticker was complicated in its own way with the unique shapes and designs within them. With the help of a mentor I was also able to learn easier ways to create the stickers so towards the end of the process I could quickly make visions reality.
Project Experiences
While working with Amare, I learned how quickly my skills could be impactful. I learned to have confidence in my creation. I also learned how to work with someone that has high status in a large company which was extremely beneficial to me. I learned many new skills that can now be used to help others and can add to my skillset.
Takeaways
I have learned to have more confidence in my work. I can see that after this project I have a real skill for creating digital content. I also learned that working with a high leader in a company can be done. At first, I felt intimidated to work with an individual with such high status but I quickly learned that my skills are wanted and needed. Working with the various Adobe programs also can be trying at times but overall with practice I was able to produce a final product that someone other than myself can enjoy.
