The Purpose
The purpose of this project was to create a visually pleasing and functional video for the clients of their wedding day. It consisted of filming, editing, and compiling the video and sending it to the clients to remember their day.
The Project
I was not able to receive permission to share the video that I made for the clients, but I these are photos of me and my husband at the wedding, and me filming at the wedding.
The Challenges
I came across a ew challenges while working on this project. The first challenge was figuring out how to film the video and how to use the film settings on my camera. I then needed to learn how to use various editing software and learn how to put music to the video.
The Processes
The processes I went through while completing the project consisted of spending a lot of time going through the footage and deciding which clips to keep and which were not important. My next step was to order the clips in a way that made sense and flowed visually and also went with the music.
The Experience
Overall I had an amazing experience. I learned a lot about working with clients, and the work that goes into videography, especially in storyboarding, filming, and editing. I loved that I was able to learn some new skills in videography and in editing. It was a great learning experience for me and was very valuable in my education.
The Takeaways
I was able to learn about videography and editing and this project opened my eyes to what a career in videography might look like. I also loved working with my clients and was able to build a great relationship with them.
