In Working with The Center for Hope through Andra Hansen, I was able to lay the groundwork for a 10-week mentor Curriculum. This curriculum uses two main sources from 10 Steps to Successful Mentoring by Wendy Axelrod and The Elements of Mentoring by W. Brad Johnson and Charles R. Ridley. Through these two books and an interview with a career mentor, the process of creating this 10- Week Mentor Curriculum is closer to pitch. If this project is carried out, mentorship training in recovery centers will change lives.
