The purpose of this project was to analyze what makes a successful content creator and practice making content to improve my skills.
My Project
Challenges
I never realized how much time and effort went into a simple video. I ran into frustrating issues with editing, losing footage, edits, mic levels, etc., but I’m proud of what I was able to accomplish despite all of these challenges.
Project Processes
My process was simple. For ads, I analyzed the market, chose brands I aligned with, planned content, filmed content, and edited content. To create organic content, I monitored trends, planned content I aligned with, filmed it, and edited it.
My Experience
I found this project to be very helpful, and the skills I sharpened are priceless. I felt my growth was immense. It gave me a very good idea of what it would be like to be in this career, and I liked what I saw.
Insights
Although this was very challenging, I learned so much. It gave me a realistic idea of what the influencer industry is like and made me want to pursue it even more. I am a creative person at heart, and making content fuels me!
