Through a collaborated effort with BYU-Idaho’s Vice President, Student Support Coordinators, and other faculty members, Nate developed a strategic plan to improve the outreach of Student Support’s Peer Success Mentoring Program. In order to improve outreach and awareness, he designed, printed, and distributed 998 magnets to 36 BYU-I approved housing complexes. Over 8,500 students now have access to the magnets. Each magnet was placed on tenants fridges to help spread awareness of the PSM program. Every magnet has a QR code that, once scanned, directs the student to a Qualtrics page where the student can refer themselves or a friend to the receive a peer mentor.
