Born with Half a Heart: There is Hope as a Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome Patient
My project is on my 16-year-old brother, Jaden, who was born with a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). With HLHS, structures on the left side of the heart do not fully develop. The goal with my project is to explain Jaden’s story, while giving hope to those who know somebody with HLHS and are worried about their future.
