Project Name: Digital Media Style Guide and Template (Kristopher L. Walton & Associates, LLC)
Emphasis: Strategic Organization
Project Summary: This project was done for Kristopher L. Walton & Associates, LLC (KLWA), a mental health therapy office based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Throughout the semester I collaborated with Kristopher Walton, the owner of the private practice, to make sure all of this content was up to his standard and that it would be beneficial to his practice. During the course of this project I have created an Instagram and Google My Business for KLWA and I have improved and added to their Facebook page. The entire semester I created content for all of these digital media platforms. In the process of doing so, we found out which ones worked for us and which didn’t. Also, we have more ideas of which platforms we will be tying to expand to in the future such as TikTok and Linkedin as well as Google Ads.
While creating this project I designed a Style Guide for the organization to increase brand consistency. I also created a template for other mental health organizations to use in hopes that more people will have access to the help that they need using tactics that have worked for us in this field.
A big part of this project was creating new pamphlets and business cards for Kristopher Walton. He is a public speaker and likes to have content to give out when he speaks and his old pamphlets were old, out of date and not in line with the style he is going for now.
Kristopher Walton’s goal in writing his book, Navigating Your Mind: Achieving a Life of Peace, Joy and Happiness, and in creating all of this content now is that more people will be able to have access to resources that can help them overcome anger, anxiety and sadness. This project was another small step towards accomplishing that goal.
