Introduction to Project

Back in September, I started a social media agency. I had worked for two different agencies, gained tons of hands on experience, and decided I was ready to start my own! For my senior project, I wanted to create something that would benefit both my agency and my potential clients. This is where my idea to create a physical book/PDF of what the process of working with Simply Social looks like stemmed from.

What to Expect in this Booklet

Right when I was brainstorming ideas for my senior project, St. Anthony Motors, a local car dealership reached out to me for social media help. The timing was perfect, as I was able to use them as a case study for my project. Throughout the past 3 months, I have spent countless hours creating a seamless workflow for my clients as they work with me as their social media manager. I’ve implemented systems such as Honeybook, Trello, Google Photos/Drive, etc., to keep us organized and on the same page. I created my Packages & Pricing PDF, a contract to keep both parties safe, invoices, and other templates that I can continue to use with future clients. I also have done 2 months of content creation for St. Anthony Motors, creating 16 reels, 32 static posts, and 32 story sets. St. Anthony Motors also received a tailored strategy session, along with an end of month analytics report. They have enjoyed working with me and I will continue to run their socials!

Everything that I have done with St. Anthony Motors the last two months, I will do for all potential clients (obviously with small tweaks here and there as I really nail down my workflow). Because of this, I was able to put together a book that takes clients through each step of the process of working with Simply Social, so they know what to expect and feel confident working with me! Here are a few example pages:

Below is the link to the PDF so you can view the full work I have done. I will also link St. Anthony Motors Instagram, as well as Simply Social’s, so you can view the content I have been creating for them and myself!

Conclusion

Overall, I am so proud of how this project turned out. I have been able to see growth in myself as a social media manager, as well as growth in my business. St. Anthony Motors as referred me to 2 other people, and I have 5 other clients I am currently working with. I hope to continue to grow my clientele after graduation, and eventually provide internships and practicum opportunities for future BYUI students as a way to give back to the program that has benefited me so much. I’m excited for what the future has in store!
