Pick’d Powders: Brand Awareness, Customer Engagement, and Research Analysis

For my final project I worked with a client Pick’d Powders which is a company that sells micro-greens powder that you can add to your water or food as a supplement for vegetables. In working with my client who is still in the works of starting up their business this coming year they wanted help doing some more research and analysis especially in regards to social media.

To help execute these goals I broke down my project into several parts including:

  1. Competitor Analytis
  2. Micro influencer Analysis
  3. Content Strategies
  4. Influencer Contract
  5. Creation of Lead Magnets

In the process of both creating and now having completed this project I can now look back and see how far I have come and seen the wide variety of things I was able to learn.

Working primary with a social media research focus I got to learn a lot more about about the variety of different target audiences on different social media platforms and how that can affect the type of content one might choose to post. Their was also a whole new aspect to social media influencing that I got to learn about. Topics like researching up the differences in nano, micro, macro, and mega influencers to drawing up a influencer contract were all completely new to me. I also had the chance to learn about what is lead magnet, their purpose, and got experience creating them. I had the privilege to create from scratch 2 lead magnets that would best help Pick’d Powders and be a deliverable piece that my client can then can send to their subscribers.

In the end, I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to complete this project to learn more skills that I can apply to my Public Relations toolkit especially moving forward in my future career and beyond my studies here at BYU Idaho. In addition I will also highly value the opportunities I had to network with so many great people in the process and the personal growth that happened along the way.
