The main purpose of my project is to promote awareness about a community that cares about their local library. Project consists in many versatile roles such as director, cinematography, audio, and editor. Though I may sound alone in this project, I had support from my peers and from the community. One of the community members, James Zoleman, happen to help backed this project with valuable information and resources.

Project Overview
This is the current location where the new library will be built. The donate meter is out of date, but over the past several years, the community has raised $300,000.
These are behind-the-scenes pictures of promoting the library and community. The project consisted of personal interviews, recording event gatherings like story time, and capturing the beauty of Menan, especially its community and other gatherings.
Why did I do this Project?
Growing up, I hated reading books. I was never much of a reader as a kid. I mostly focused on watching TV. As I got to my college years, I realized that I had missed out on good books that I wished I had found when I was a kid. But now that I’ve gained experience in video work, I feel like I should return the favor by making a documentary about books, which in turn involves this library. It has been a great experience as it has rekindled my childhood moments with libraries and books. If there is anything I took away from this project, it would be how important libraries are to communities, even if it is a small town.
