Project Description:
Olive Avenue is a local, women’s clothing boutique here Rexburg. Their company vision is to help their customers feel beautiful and confident both inside and out. For my senior project, I created an event called Let Your Beauty Shine. This event was planned to be a store after-hour party where customers could come to treat themselves to a night of pampering and relaxing. They would be able to shop the new spring arrivals earlier than other customers, they would be treated to complimentary refreshments, a braid bar, and possible massages, (All donated by local vendors and organizations in Rexburg and Idaho Falls). Additionally, customers would be able to participate in writing uplifting messages for themselves and for others, (See details in Event Outline PDF below).
Due to the COVID-19 virus, the event was ultimately cancelled to abide by CDC guidelines limiting the number of people that could be gathered at a single time. For the rest of my project, I have been actively working the creative director of Olive Ave. to produce content for the blog on their website, possible content for their Youtube channel, researching different ways to increase store location awareness in Idaho Falls, and creating a customer satisfaction survey.
