For my senior project, I developed a branding guide and PR plan for a small business called PlumpyPeach. This business is owned by my friend Hannah Humble, she has owned this business for about six months now, and it is only just beginning to really take off. PlumpyPeach is an online infant clothing store. Hannah’s main platform for selling is Etsy, she also uses Instagram as a way to connect with her customers.
When I first met with Hannah, she explained to me that her business is doing well, but that she wanted more people to be aware of her brand. She just didn’t know how to promote her brand or pick a niche target audience. My original plan was to implement a PR Plan for Plumpy Peach, but I decided it would best to teach her first.
During our consultations, I would explain to her the benefits that could come from social media marketing and generating good PR for her brand. She expressed to me that a guide on how to brand herself and certain strategies that will help market Plumpy Peach. Therefore, for my project, I decided to create a guide for Hannah on her brand and how to brand Plumpy Peach.
