This capstone project aims to revitalize Fixxology Rexburg’s brand presence and customer engagement by leveraging survey insights and Instagram analytics to enhance its social media strategy and reconnect with the local college demographic.
Down below is the final tool I developed for Fixxology on Looker Studio to track each post. Through Looker Studio, the client will be able to select a date range they’d like to evaluate. My client also has a background in data analytics, but was unsure about integrating this data from the Instagram account. Instead of using bullet points, I used longer paragraphs to allow the client to reference and fully understand each point. This is not just a presentation but a workable tool to help them grow their Instagram account.
The most time-consuming aspect of this project was organizing and refining the data from each post since October. In October, Fixxology Rexburg rebranded the old SodaVine account (previous building tenets). I manually inputted data from each post as well as calculated the engagement rate of each post and by overarching theme. I was able to download some of the data from their Meta Business Suite, but had to clean it up and add to it to understand the needs of the Fixxology Instagram account based on the client’s goals.
