For my senior project, I managed social media for Paradise Donuts in Rexburg, Idaho. More specifically, I planned, created, and shared content on its Instagram page while applying marketing elements. These include posting consistently to increase reach, posting at optimal times of audience activity and product relevance, sharing quality content paired with catchy captions and call to actions, and using hashtags.
At the beginning of this project, I set a few objectives to measure the success of my project. Those objectives were to increase reach, content interactions, followers, and sales.
I have spent my 50 hours brainstorming, planning, prepping, shooting, editing, scheduling and posting quality content with Paradise Donuts’ business goals and my objectives in mind. I also spent time collecting and analyzing data about reach, engagement, followers, and sales.
