Project Summary
Welcome to my Senior Project! My name is Josie Gubler, and I am a senior at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I am graduating with a degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and a cluster in Digital and Social Media. Foy my Senior Project I wanted to do something that displayed all the skills that I have learned in my time here at BYU-Idaho. I was provided the opportunity to work with Gubler Dental, a dental practice located in Henderson, Nevada. Gubler Dental, like many companies, has been affected negatively by the Covid-19 Pandemic. They were looking for a way to increase their social media presence in hopes to attract new patients as well as creating targeted messages in hopes to attract patients looking for certain treatments. From the knowledge I have gained here at school I have created a PR Book, a social media plan, and a PR Campaign for them to implement over the next 6 months. I created 12 weeks’ worth of content for them that I uploaded to Hootsuite. I also provided them with templates and tutorials on how everything was created that so they will be able to continue to create their social media content. This campaign is set to start on April 5th and run until the beginning of October. Since I will not be around for the end of the campaign, I set up them up with evaluation plans to help them in seeing how this campaign helped them reach their goals. They will then take this data and make decisions on how to move further in the future. Below is the PR Book that I created as well as example post images.
